UJ teams dominate Global Business Challenge shortlists

​​​​​University of Johannesburg (UJ) students highlighted that standard of their business management knowledge with three teams being shortlisted as Global Business Challenge (GBC) finalists for the South African national final of this prestige global business competition.​

CIMA, The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, announced that UJ’s teams – Team Think Finance; Team ABE Consulting and Team Original Solutions, are three of the four shortlisted teams, which is run in partnership Barclays.

The teams will present their case study to a panel of four prestige judges, which includes a representative from Barclays and the FASSET CEO, Cheryl James, as part of the South African final to be held at the Johannesburg Stock Exchange on Tuesday, 20 May 2014.

The winning team from each region will be flown to the global final in Mumbai, India, in August to compete against 23 other regions for the title of global champions.
