UJ pays homage to 2 945 years of collective service excellence

​​In recognition of the faithful service of long-serving staff, the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) management, once again, paid homage to 113 employees who have reached their long-service milestone anniversaries in 2013.

In recognition of the faithful service of long-serving staff, the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) management, once again, paid homage to 113 employees who have reached their long-service milestone anniversaries in 2013.
Those awarded had served the Institution between twenty and thirty-five years. During this period, the 113 recipients of the awards had spent 2 945 years of service.
Prof Ihron Rensburg, Vice-Chancellor and Principal, UJ, thanked the awardees for their continuous support over the years. “The University owes its on-going success to the commitment and dedication of its employees.This is an opportunity to thank our long-serving employees and celebrate these remarkable individuals’ efforts to help build our University,” said Professor Rensburg.
The 2013 ceremony was held on Wednesday, 13 November, 2013.
