Dr Richard Britto, a postdoctoral fellow in the Physics Department organised a lunar eclipse watching for students early Monday morning. The pictures were taken by Britto with his mobile Nokia C7 (full focus camera) through the 26-mm eyepiece of telescope MEADE ETX125-AT. Approximately 20-25 people attended – these were mainly students. Unfortunately the group picture shown was taken only at the end, after the crowd had left.
