Staff exchange programme initiated with the Krakow School of Business, Krakow University of Economics, Poland

Date: Oct 22, 2012 | News

Poland is a developing economy, qualified like South Africa as an efficiency driven economy, which in turn enables comparative analysis across disciplines.

To date, this partnership has realised a local accredited article, a conference proceeding, an IBSS accredited journal article and an article published in a Polish journal on business ethics.

Current research focuses on entrepreneurial intention and ethical outlook. Ayisha Akhalwaya and Dr Geoff Goldman from the Department of Business Management recently implemented a staff exchange programme in collaboration with the Krakow University of Economics (UEK).

Ayisha lectured undergraduate and Master’s students; Geoff lectured MBA students. Two public lectures were presented to students and faculty. Two colleagues from KSB shall be visiting our Department of Business Management in February 2013.

Apart from lecturing, Ayisha and Geoff represented UJ at official events at the Krakow Business School year opening and the Krakow University of Economics.

Should you wish to know more about this cooperation agreement or be interested in possible collaborative research projects, please contact Dr Geoff Goldman.
