We have commenced the ‘Research in Industrial Development and Policy Seminar’. This is a bi-weekly seminar series, co-ordinated by postdoctoral research fellows Dr Ferran Portella-Carbó and Dr Lorenza Monaco, and run jointly with the MPhil programme in Industrial Policy. The seminar series provides an opportunity for students and researchers associated with the Chair and the MPhil programme to present their completed or ongoing research in the field of industrial development and policy and receive feedback. The ultimate goal is to improve the quality of our research before rendering it public, promote collaborative research among the members of the cluster, and train students in giving effective presentations in scientific conferences.
