“The Global Entrepreneurship Monitor South Africa report, released yesterday in Cape Town, said that the number of South Africans interested in starting a business has halved since 2010.

The decline has been particularly sharp among blacks and women.
The report’s co-author, Mike Herrington, said last week’s news that Egypt had overtaken South Africa as the continent’s second-biggest economy should have sounded the alarm… ” – The Times newspaper.
