The South African Reserve Bank (SARB) Cadet Graduation Ceremony, held on 10 November 2015 was an event filled with excitement for the 7 Cadets who completed the SARB Cadet Programme in 2015. The ceremony was hosted by SARB Governor Lesetja Kganyago, with special guests, Prof Amanda Dempsey and Prof Derrick Swartz. Prof Amanda Dempsey (Executive Dean: Faculty of Economic and Financial Sciences) represented the UJ for its involvement in the moderation of the programme as well as the strategic partnership it has built with the SARB over the past few years. Prof Derrick Swartz, Vice-Chancellor: Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University was the keynote speaker, delivering a thought-provoking speech to the Cadets and guests. A speech was delivered by Cadet leader for 2015, Ms Zanté Campher and the best student award went to Mr Jaco Swart for obtaining the highest overall average in the programme. A huge amount of work and effort goes into the programme each year and we thank all participants involved in the programme.
