Date: Oct 17, 2013 | News

We need to change our mindsets and make the paradigm shift to becoming entrepreneurs as entrepreneurship and small business is the key to economic growth and development in South Africa. This was the strong message given by the key note speakers at the Entrepreneurship Affinity Group event, hosted by the UJ Alumni Network on 16 October 2013 at the STH, Bunting Road Campus.
The topics discussed were:
  • ‘Political environment and the entrepreneur’ by Mr Zizi Kodwa, Advisor to the Premier of Gauteng, Nomvula Monkonyane; and
  • ‘Economic overview and prospects for 2013 and beyond’ by Mr Johannes Khosa, Economist at Nedbank.
