Discovery Hackathon hat trick for UJ ACSSE Students

A health and fitness system with innovative functionality to track everyday fitness and health activities of Discovery gym members is what saw students of UJ’s Academy of Computer Science and Software Engineering (ACSSE) – Kyle Alexander, Jihyun Byun, Jacques Oosthuizen, Mario da Silva and Shaun Van Wyk (Team Bithealth) – winning this year’s Discovery GradHack Hackathon. This is the third consecutive year that students of the Academy win the competition, said Academy Head of Department, Prof Elize Ehlers.
