Best Poster Paper at International Conference

Mr Marinus Boon won an award for the at the best Poster Paper presented at this year’s International Society for Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing (ISPRS) Conference in Prague. “This is a truly large conference and Marinus has done the Departments of Zoology and Geography at the University of Johannesburg proud with his achievement,” said Zoology HoD, Prof Annemarie Avenant-Oldewage. His paper, “Wetland assessment using Unmanned Aerial Vehicle (UAV) Photogrammetry”, was co-supervised by Drs Richard Greenfield (Zoology) and Solomon Tesfamichael (Geography).
