5FM Radio DJ Tumi Voster was recently honoured with a prestigious ‘honorary lifetime membership’ of the University of Johannesburg’s Chapter of the Golden Key Society.

She was awarded the membership for upholding academic excellence, good leadership and community service.

“It’s truly an honour to know that my work and achievements are recognised. I will continue to strive for excellence in everything I do and hope that the impact of my work changes people’s lives around me. My duty now is to make sure that with this accolade I continue to serve other people and leave a legacy that will empower and shape a better future for others,” said Voster upon receiving the Golden Key.

The Golden Key is the world’s largest collegiate honour society and membership is by invitation only. The Golden Key Society recognises students whose academic performance puts them in the top 15% of university students in all fields of study and also recognises prominent social figures that uphold the three important pillars. She graduated with a Marketing Communications degree at UJ.
