At UJ, we understand that Higher Learning is vital to entering the Fourth Industrial Revolution, and in doing so, ensuring Africa becomes future proof.  One however has to understand how to harness the technological disruption Industry 4.0 will bring to create a strategic and competitive advantage.

Technology, which used to be thought of as a function to be outsourced, or a sector on its own, is now a strategic layer across all aspects of an organisation. Understanding what's over the horizon is essential for any organisation wishing to harness the opportunities of a rapidly changing global economy in the 21st century.

Johannesburg Business School in partnership with Accenture will host a one day Masterclass presented by Dr Angus Hervey.  This one day masterclass will equip participants with the ability to think clearly and critically about the way technological disruption is changing the economy, a skill that's particularly relevant for leaders who wish to maintain a strategic advantage — and protect their organisations against competitors looking to do the same.

The masterclass takes place on 12 September and will be hosted at Accenture's Liquid studio. This is a physical space where clients work side-by-side with Accenture professionals to turn ideas into innovative applications and solutions with speed and agility.
