About Prof Aziz Choudry
Aziz Choudry is associate professor in the Department of Integrated Studies in Education at McGill University, Canada and visiting professor at CERT. With lengthy experience as a so-cial and political activist, educator and researcher, he currently serves on the boards of the Immigrant Workers Centre (Montreal) and the Global Justice Ecology Project. Besides nu-merous book chapters, his articles have been published in International Education, Globalisa-tions, Global Labour Journal, International Journal of Lifelong Education, Cultural studies of Science Education, Journal of Business and Technical Communication, McGill Journal of Ed-ucation, Alternate Routes, Contention, Canadian Journal for the Study of Adult Education, Journal of Alternative Perspectives in the Social Sciences, Studies in Social Justice and Race and Class, among others.
He is co-author of Fight Back: Workplace Justice for Immigrants (Fernwood, 2009), and co-editor of Learning from the Ground Up: Global Perspectives on Social Movements and Knowledge Production (Palgrave Macmillan, 2010), Organize! Building from the local for global justice, (PM Press/Between the Lines, 2012), NGOization: Complicity, Contradictions and Prospects (Zed Books, 2013).
