Biography

Thabang is a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg (UJ) in the Department of Civil Engineering Science. He has 5 years’ experience in teaching and research. Thabang is a registered candidate civil engineer with the Engineering Council of South Africa (ECSA), and an associate member of the South African Institution of Civil Engineering (SAICE) and the Water Institute of Southern Africa (WISA). He has supervised 5 engineering final year students (Honours) and has recently chaired a session titled “4IR – Opportunities, Challenges and Inequality” at the Science Forum SA 2019.

Previous and current modules: Civil Project Investigation 4B, Civil Design 4B, Surveying 3B, Fluid Mechanics 2A, Draughting 1B (Manual Drawing and AutoCAD).
