Dr Matongo Kabani

Prior to joining the department at University of Johannesburg, I spent time as a post-doctoral researcher at University of Cape Town where I carried out teaching, research in area of structural dynamics and structural reliability. During this time, I was appointed as visiting lecturer at University of Namibia where I engaged in teaching activities at both undergraduate and postgraduate level in structural steel. I have worked as an engineer under the Concrete Materials and Structural Integrity Research Unit at University of Cape Town where I carried out advanced analysis of existing structures, non-destructive testing of concrete structures as well as vibration serviceability assessment of long span floors
