About Adrie Hease

I qualified with a BA degree in Fine Arts at the University of Pretoria in 2007, before continuing with my MPhil and PhD degrees at Stellenbosch University. My research interest spans different disciplines. Whereas my PhD and MPhil work focused on illustration, social semiotics and multimodality, I have also researched and published in the branding and advertising space. In my personal capacity, I continue to illustrate and produce art.
