|Dr Lonzeche Lodya|
Dr Lonzeche Lodya originally came from Zaïre (now Democratic Republic of the Congo) where he completed his first degrees. He went on to complete a MSc at Wits and then enrolled for a PhD at the Rand Afrikaans University (now UJ) on the magnetic properties of Cr alloys, under the guidance of Prof HL Alberts and Prof ARE Prinsloo. He currently works as a Line Manager and Principal Scientist at Sasol Technology (Pty) Ltd.

|Dr Frank Dhlamini|
Dr Frank Dhlamini holds a PhD degree in Physics from UJ, specialising in the Fabrication and Evaluation of Thin film Solar Cells. He is currently a project manager within the Change and Systems division at Absa. He has also worked as a Business Analyst within Accenture South Africa System Integration and Technology. He has worked on projects in the Energy, Utility and Banking industries.

|Dr Richard Prinsloo|
Dr Richard Prinsloo was born and raised in Johannesburg (South Africa) and did all his degrees at the Rand Afrikaans University. He did his MSc on solar cell technologies and then completed a PhD on ceramic capacitors. This project was done as a collaborative project between Physics and Engineering under the supervision of Prof R Strydom and Prof D van Wyk. He is currently working at Public Display Technologies (PDT) Pty (Ltd) as a Manager and Precurement Specialist.

|Dr Nico de Koker|
Dr Nico de Koker got his BSc at the Rand Afrikaans University, before moving to Wits for his Honours in Geology. He then moved to USA for his MSc and PhD at the University of Michigan. He now holds a Post-Doc position at the Bayerisches Geoinstitut in Germany.

|Mr Prosper Ngabonziza|
Mr Prosper Ngabonziza joined the Physics Department in August 2010 when he started his MSc under the supervision of Dr Bryan Doyle and Dr Emanuela Carleschi. He completed his MSc in June 2012 with a distinction. He is now doing his PhD at the University of Twente in Netherlands.

Mr Nemalili Tshakule completed his BSc at UJ in 2007, and he is currently working in the framework of the prestigious Square Kilometre Array (SKA) project in Cape Town.
