UJCfE was launched on 22 September 2006 and established by the University of Johannesburg, as an outreach centre, to facilitate business development in south rural areas and other parts of the African continent.
The University of Johannesburg Centre for Entrepreneurship (UJfCE) is dedicated to providing the best in entrepreneurship education, development and support to create a new breed of future-fit entrepreneurs.
To create the premier entrepreneurial hub in Africa for entrepreneurs, students, partners, and investors – a centre of excellence in building new start-up businesses and creating the future in innovation to
empower entrepreneurs to establish successful businesses that create jobs and alleviate poverty.
