Call for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships
The Department of Marketing Management in the School of Consumer Intelligence and Information Systems at the University of Johannesburg is inviting applications from outstanding early career researchers for Postdoctoral Research Fellowships (PDRF) in Marketing Management/Retail.
To be shortlisted, applicants must have an exceptional track record, as well as the commitment and potential to contribute significantly to the Department's research outputs.
The UJ Department of Marketing Management is home to the most impactful Marketing Researchers in Africa (Learn more about us here). Our research focus is on excellence and impact. We aim to develop pioneering research solutions with real benefits to industry, government, the environment, and communities.
PDRFs applicants should have completed a Doctoral degree within the last five years in Marketing Management, Retail, or related fields and below 45 years of age. Proposals and applications relating to Marketing/Retail research linked to 4IR will be welcomed.
The following documents are required from both South African and International PDRFs:
- Signed PDRF Agreement
- Completed application form
- Your CV
- Research proposal (not less than three pages), specifying the research focus, projected timelines, expected research outputs, and identified journals. (Important: Research proposals and expected research outputs cannot be based on data gathered for previous non-UJ studies or projects). The following can be used as a guideline: Click here
- Certified copy of Ph.D. certificate or proof that the PDRF has satisfactorily fulfilled all her/his university requirements for a Ph.D.
- Proof of a South African bank account
