Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Economy

A pioneering and ground-breaking initiative by the Faculty is the establishment of a Centre for Social Entrepreneurship and Social Economy (CSESE) at the end of 2010. The CSESE research, educate and promote social entrepreneurship and the social economy through various programme offerings, partnerships and initiatives.

The CSESE centre connects with the “new growth path” envisaged by government. Therefore the offering of strategies and programmes, blurring the boundaries between business, government and non-profit, adopting and adapting the tools and knowledge from all sectors and disciplines to improve performance, develop new approaches and attract more resources to the social economy; is of utmost importance.
