SA Contemporary Jewellery Awards exhibition

Creative feel, in partnership with FADA Gallery and association with the Contemporary Jewellery Forum (CJF), hosted the inaugural South African Contemporary Jewellery Awards ceremony and exhibition opening. The guest speaker was Beverley Price, Art Jewellery Forum – Ambassador for South Africa.
These initiatives are premised on promoting jewelry as a creative medium for personal expression and providing a platform for the development of cutting-edge concepts and techniques while creating fine and distinctive art jewelry.
The awards exhibition aimed to bring together established jewelers, including young and aspiring artists, to create one-of-a-kind expressive or installation pieces. There were no limitations as artists were called upon to visualize and realize their ideas.
International and local judges ensured that selected works were deserving of their inclusion in this well-established niche market. All pieces on exhibition were for sale, presenting an opportunity for art collectors and the public to add jewelry to their collections.
