A collaborative robot, also known as a Cobot, is a robot that is capable of learning multiple tasks so it can assist human beings. In other words, a cobot, is a robot that perform tasks directly in conjunction with humans within a shared or nearby space. Cobots are designed to interact directly with humans in a defined collaborative space. In recent years, cobots have revolutionized the modern industry by assisting humans from manufacturing to material handling, and thereby ensuring enhanced safety and profits. This talk will cover some basic insights on application of cobots and practical examples, along with discussing how cobots are influencing the modern factory or industry.
