About Mr Sula Bantubakhona Kwesi Ntsaluba

​Biography

Mr. Sula Ntsaluba is a practicing professional in in the field of engineering, a lecturer at the University of Johannesburg and a serial entrepreneur. He completed his Bachelors’ degree in electronic engineering at the University of Pretoria (2011). He then furthered his studies and completed his honors and masters’ degree (in 2012 and 2015 respectively) in electrical engineering at the University of Pretoria, specializing in the flowrate optimization of active solar water heating systems. He also obtained his certification in energy management in 2016. During this period, he also co-founded a private academic assistance organization (Turning Point Tutors CC, 2010-current) focused on assisting students in the secondary and tertiary fields of study with tuition, semester test and exam preparation courses, amanuensis and work readiness programs. This organization currently employs five full time employees and over 250 tutors that serve as part time employees, whilst servicing over 4500 students every year. He now consults at the University of Johannesburg as an energy auditor and holds the title of Sustainability project manager, where he is responsible for the management, planning and facilitation of all sustainability initiatives at the university. He also works for the University as a lecturer at the faculty of Engineering and Build Environment. He is also currently pursuing his PHD studies in electrical engineering at the University of Pretoria.
