Anna Oksiutycz is a Lecturer in Department of Strategic Communication at the University of Johannesburg and previously worked at other South African Universities and in a publishing industry. Anna has expertise in strategic communication, business management, marketing communication and research.  She successfully supervised a number of postgraduate students, including a dozen of MA and MTech students. She participated in collaborative research and teaching projects with a number of organizations including the UN International Organization for Migration, Gauteng Department of Human Settlements, South African Depression and Anxiety Group, Childline, Sparrow Schools and the UJ Faculty of Art Design and Architecture. In a classroom she promotes critical thinking, interdisciplinary teaching, authentic learning approaches as well as the use of collaborative technologies. She presented locally and internationally 15 conference papers and published several articles in academic journals. Anna was also an adjudicator for the IABC Silver Quill Awards.
