Pan-African Alumni Leadership Exchange Programme

Join the University of Johannesburg, Yale University and the UJ Alumni Network as we make History with the first Pan-African Alumni Leadership Exchange Conference on June 29-30, 2016. Come share best practices in alumni relations, including discussions of how to identify, cultivate, and engage alumni as volunteers and leaders working for, and on behalf of, the university – plus much more.

The University of Johannesburg (UJ) Alumni Network was established to facilitate a lifelong relationship between alumni, parents, current students, UJ staff and friends of the University. Our dedicated team is tasked to raise funds for the Institution through organising an array of events done in collaboration with partners and the wider UJ family (Faculties and Departments) to engage alumni to stay connected with UJ and to each other across all professional and academic spheres that interests our Alumni and Affinity Groups.

The University of Johannesburg nurtures its development as the Pan-African epicentre of critical intellectual enquiry through continued International Profile for Global Excellence and Stature placed within the top 4% of universities in the QS World University Rankings, 61 in the 2013 QS BRICS University Ranking and an Institution situated within a vibrant and cosmopolitan World Class African City. UJ is the first and only African university admitted to the highly respected consortium of 28 research-intensive universities in the world, Universitas 21 – an important endorsement of the growing international stature of UJ.
