BPSA Education Foundation Trust supports UJ Disability Unit
The BPSA Education Foundation Trust has undertaken to support students with disabilities in the UJ Disability Unit during 2017. This is the second year that the Trust has affirmed its commitment to the University.
The Trust has donated R191 550 towards purchasing much-needed assistive devices for the Disability Unit which will go a long way to enhancing the learning and general experience of UJ students with disabilities.
Additionally, the Trust has added a further five scholarships to the 10 they are already underwriting. These are comprehensive scholarships covering the full cost of tuition, accommodation, books and stipend and go to support students in their first year of study at UJ.
The BPSA Educational Foundation Trust is focused on providing access to education for talented learners. Its support for education and skills development is one of the ways the Trust aims to bring about positive societal changes in the country.
To this end BPSA Education Foundation Trust regards its partnership with UJ as a natural fit and recognises that there is synergy between what the Trust is doing and what UJ represents.
