​​​​UJ Leadership Colloquium​ (The New Struggle)

​​Introduction

The University of Johannesburg in association with the SABC invite you to a Leadership Colloquium on 'The New Struggle' taking place on the 30th June 2016, in commemoration of Youth Month and the June 16 1976 uprising. The objective for this event is to tackle issues, roles and responsibilities of the Youth of today with regards to the leadership and growth of South Africa. The colloquium will draw parallels from the Apartheid struggle, of which the youth prior to democracy faced, including the current youth struggle.

Past and current leaders will engage on topics that affect today's youth and how we can better provide basics such as education, employment opportunities, clean running water and other challenges in the country. Some of the main topics will include:

  • Moral Leadership
  • Service Leadership
  • Student Leadership in Politics
  • Deterioration of the Character
  • Ghost Leadership
