Join us for the end of year students exhibitions where the building in transformed into a gallery showcasing top student work. Exhibition 1 will include work from the Departments of Graphic Design, Visual Art, Fashion Design, Jewellery Design, and Multimedia. Exhibition 2 will include work from the Departments of Architecture, Industrial Design and Interior Design.

Informal Studio: R U I M S I G
A public exhibition by MTech Architectural Technology students summarised a current informal settlement upgrading project. The collected work on exhibition portrayed, primarily through film, the challenging dynamics inherent in the teaching of this course, and the necessary shift required by architects, educators and officials to acknowledge and engage with the informal city and its networks. Masters Students are Re-Educating the City
Architecture Masters students from the University of Johannesburg (UJ) are ‘Re-educating the City’ in a project that explored the spaces used for inner-city schools. The seven-week design project culminated with an exhibition of the work from all 16 participants.
