With scores of 66 and 68 for a total of 134, Jonathan edged Royal Johannesburg and Kensington Golfer, Alfred Sutton by one shot.

After both Jonathan and Alfred opened with scores of 66 in the morning round, it was a tightly contested battle in the afternoon with both players playing exceptional golf.
Fortunately the weather played it's part for the first time this year in a CGGU tournament and the players we treated to an emaculately conditioned course at Reading CC.

At the tournament prizegiving Pat Frampton, captain of Central Gauteng Nomads, was on hand to present the trophy to Jonathan and was thanked for their continued support of golf in the union and particularly this tournament which they have been involved in as sponsors for the past 30 years.
In third place was Darin de Smidt and Ryan Lane with Ekurhuleni golfer Ross Callaghan alone in 5th position.
