UJ Squash is an open club which is affiliated to Central Gauteng Squash. Jamie Fortune (UJ Squash Manager) currently presides on the Central Gauteng Squash Committee. The courts at the Auckland Park Kingsway Campus are used for training and league matches. The courts on the Doornfontein Campus are used for community engagement projects in assistance with Central Gauteng Squash. The ladies league is on Monday nights and runs from March to October. There are 3 league sides. The  men’s league is on a Tuesday or Wednesday depending on the league one participates in and runs from March to October. Leagues 1-7 play on Tuesday and leagues 8-10 play on Wednesday.

Practices are held on Wednesday and Thursday evenings at the Kingsway courts.

Current news and achievements:

   - In 2010 the ladies won the 1st league (highest league)

   - In 2011 the ladies won the 3rd league

   - In 2011 the men won the 2nd league
