NADIA BEUKES
DRAMA COMPANY
Nadia Beukes is a presenter, actress, singer/songwriter and dancer with her honours degree in Marketing Communication. Best known for her continuity presenting on kykNET, Nadia has also done field presenting for a number of other productions including EkoNET, Dekor, Tjirp and Tuine en Tossels. She recently appeared in Villa Rosa, as the sophisticated lawyer Erica Brink also aired on kykNET and can be seen as the character Kallie in Bundu Buddies, aired on Koowee.
Her vocal credits include her involvement with the highly acclaimed a capella group Cutt Glas, of which she was a member, as well as ensemble roles in The Rocky Horror Show, Ons vir jou and Janice Honeyman's Snow White. Nadia was seen as front line in the compilation show Miss Rock and has done various MC and voice projects. As part of the group NX, in conjunction with Xander Steyn, Nadia has also co-written, -recorded and -released the debut album of the group Brieweboks.
In 2010 Nadia was cast as part of the ATKV touring musical, Agent Snoet. She will also appear in Deon Opperman’s television production Hartland and his stage production Tree Aan in 2011.

Matt has a degree in Social Sciences. His list of theatre credits include lead roles in Hair (Paul), Peter Pan, the Westend hit Saturday Night Fever (Bobby C - for which he received a Naledi Theatre Award Nomination for Best Male Newcomer), The Full Monty (Nathan), Snow White and more recently The Rocky Horror Show (Riff Raff) and Pinocchio (Jiminy Cricket).
Matt recently returned from abroad with the Westend touring company of GREASE where he played Doody (also having received a Naledi Theatre Award Nomination for Best Supporting Lead). In addition to stage productions; Matt is growing his career as an established Voice Over artist and Corporate performer.

Motlatji is a singer, actress, and voiceover artist who studied BA (Audiovisual Production Management).
As a singer she’s shared a stage with jazz diva, Abigail Khubeka, and Rocco de Villiers.
She’s done several adverts, but her acting credits include playing Nombulelo on SABC 2’s Askies, as well as soon to be aired Thembi on SABC 1’s Zone14. She also played Lerato in the short film Southern Cross.
Her theatre credits include being in the ‘football musical’ The Boys in The Photograph at the Joburg Theatre during the 2010 World Cup. She also played Tituba and Mary Warren in Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. |

STEVEN LEWIS

Since Steven left the University he was on air with KFM Ground Patrol in Cape Town for a year. He represented South Africa in the Akkroball World Cup in Dubai in 2007 with his brother Stanton Lewis.
In 2008, Steven took part in a reality show which undertook a national search to find South Africas Troy and Gabriella to play the lead roles in the stage production of High School Musical. Steven beat through thousands of applicants and soared his way to the Final 14.
In 2008, Steven entered an online competition with Motorola to help Wyclef and Fergie find SAs next Motorokrstar! He then left for New York City to record with Wyclef and Fergie in Wyclef's studios.
He has landed himself a recording contract with Universal and a management contract with Maximum Artists.

Louise Moodie has a degree in BA Audio Visual Production Management. She portrayed a flippant waitress in Oppikoffie on SABC 2's 7de laan (2006), played Jesse in the first Afrikaans Full Feature Musical in 30 years: “Liefling, die Movie”. She has presented a pilot episode for a MNet Edit reality show called “Smile”. She played Katja Steenkamp on Generations. She will soon be starting production on a SA full feature called “Vinegar Blues”.

SABELO MTHEMBU
CHOIR
Sabelo Mthembu is a musically dynamic South African singer and songwriter conducting and directing an a cappella music group called Quava. He writes and arranges numerous choral pieces widely sung across choir competitions in southern Africa.
In 2007, Sabelo progressed to the Top 12 round in the fourth season of South African Idols. He has since worked and performed on various stages with various artists such as Zama Jobe and Louise Carver, to mention but a few.
In June 2010 Sabelo performed on the opening night of the launch of the SONY 3D make.believe television technology for the 2010 FIFA world cup, with guests including general secretary of FIFA, Jerome Valcke, Shakira, Lucas Radebe, and many SONY executives from across the world.
He performs regularly with his band at weddings, private corporate functions and clubs and restaurants. He is currently working on his first album entitled Songs of Brotherhood due to be released in the first quarter of 2012.

CHRISTEL MUTOMBO

Christel is an actress, singer and dancer with a BSc. degree in Human Physiology and Psychology. She has performed in Winnie the Pooh playing Kanga (2008), High School Musical 2009 (including the Asian Tour) as Taylor McKessie, The Boys in the Photograph (Ensemble-2010) and is currently playing the role of Ali in Mamma Mia (2011).
Her Commercial experience includes the Cell C Corporate Video ( 2010).

MTHABISI SIBANDA
CHOIR
Between the Choir and the campus music society (MUSO), Mthabisi met and befriended a band of brothers who, together with him, formed the Band, The Muffinz. They play a fusion of Latin, African, pop rhythms that are played to beautiful melodies to create a genre that they refer to as INDIE AFRO JAZZ.
In 2006 he entered the Walk The Plank TV show on SABC 3, which his team won.
He then auditioned for the High School Musical SA Theater production in 2008 and made it beyond the preliminary stages but later dropped out to go on a tour of Europe with the UJ Choir.
In 2009 Mthabisi auditioned for an internet based contest, Gridstar, and after a year of contest, won the grand prize to record an album.
The journey of Mthabisi as a musician started as a single man's journey but continues as a team effort with his band, The Muffinz, which is now signed to the country's biggest independant record company, Just Music.

Thando Thabethe is an actress, presenter and radio DJ. She has performed in various theatre productions including “Instruments of Darkness” and “The smile”. Her commercial experience includes Brothers for Life and TV License. She is currently a radio DJ on YFM 99.2. She plays the lead role of Thando Nkosi on the SABC 1 sitcom “my perfect family”.
