I worked at the University of the Western Cape, Cape Town, for 31 years where I lectured in Sociology for 27 years. There I served for 5 years on the Senate International Relations Committee, 3 years as Chairperson.
Joined RAU (now UJ) in 1999. Director: Division of Public Relations, Rand Afrikaans University (RAU) until 2004 and became Director: Division for International Relations since the merger in with Technikon Witwatersrand in 2005.
I am a member of the Directors Forum of the International Education Association of South Africa (IEASA), formerly serving as Vice-President for two terms.
I am an Honorary Member of the Golden Key International Honour Society
I serve as Campus Primary Advisor for the UJ Chapter of the Golden Key International Honour Society
