RAG (Remember and give)


Rag committees are voluntary student organisations that raise funds and engage in community service projects.

There is traditionally a Rag Week at the beginning of each year during which there are various events, such as concerts to raise funds, a fun-day, a Miss First-Year contest and a float procession.

Rag committees not only raise funds during Rag week but also participate in various other fundraising projects throughout the year. The main aim of the Rag committees is to become involved in numerous community service projects in order to improve the lives of disadvantaged people in our community.

Students who want to get involved in Rag activities or community service projects should contact the Rag Committee on their campus.  The contact details of the Rag committee on a particular campus may be obtained from the Student Development Practitioner of that campus:
