In Kruinsig, ladies are offered the chance to become part of a close family where the best years of your life will be spent. There are activities to interest a wide variety of tastes. We take part in a variety of Sport and Cultural events, as well as pay attention to our studies – which is what we are after all at university to do. We are sure to have a lot of fun on the side. This leads to a balanced and healthy life.
Kruinsig Ladies Residence is situated on the Auckland Park Kingsway Campus of the University of Johannesburg. With our 16 story high building we offer one of the best views on campus.
Our motto is “Friendship and Individuality”. Keeping to this motto ensures that everyone in res gets along well and keeps up a positive atmosphere, as well as a positive relationship with other residences on campus.
Our mascot’s name is Kardoesie. She is a flamingo that we have adopted at the Johannesburg Zoo. A graphic version of her can be seen on all our residence clothing, which is worn with pride and identifies us on campus.
