Ms Suzanne Graham Faculty of Humanities Department of Politics Lecturer
Biographical
Suzanne Graham, who holds an MA from the University of Johannesburg, is a lecturer of International Relations. Her Masters research focused on terrorist waves and corresponding terrorist groups. She is a member of the South African Association of Political Studies (SAAPS) and the International Political Science Association (IPSA). In 2002 she co-shared the award for top student of the Faculty of Humanities. She has run the first year tutor programme in the Politics department since 2002. In 2008 she was on the organizing committee of the SAAPS conference hosted by the UJ Politics department. Ms Graham specialises in international relations and international political economy. Her teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels focuses on aspects of international relations such as the development of the modern political system, foreign policy, terrorism, globalisation and international conflict. Currently, she is working on her doctoral thesis: "South Africa’s voting behaviour in the United Nations since 1994" and will be undertaking research in Luxembourg in June 2010.
