Médecins Sans Frontières/Doctors without Borders (MSF) and the University of Johannesburg’s Faculty of Health Sciences, have partnered to establish awareness of public health-related issues through a series of high-level debates. The second in this series will address: the challenges of increasing access to life-saving ARV treatment in resource-poor settings; South Africa’s plans to meet the National Strategic Plan targets under the current constraints of global cuts in public health funding by internationaldonors; and global perspectives on access to quality healthcare in the context of an HIV / TB pandemic.
