Pre-service teachers in pursuit of "transcurricular" social awareness in a field excursion program

Prof. Elbie Henning and Dr. Josef de Beer presented a paper during the American Educational Research Association (AERA) 2010 Annual Meeting (April 2010). The theme for this year's conference was "Understanding complex ecologies in a changing world", and the paper, focusing on innovative interventions in teacher education, was well received within this context.
