Magda K. Wilson
The Department of Economics and Econometrics has been making a tremendous effort to establish itself as the leading research department. After contributing 22 journal articles last year, the department seems to be heading for a higher target this year. So far, the department has 12 publications, most of which are accredited journal articles. Prof Fiona Tregenna deserves to be mentioned for her six publications so far in 2011, five of which are sole-authored and her publication in Applied Economics which is ranked 29th journal in the world on the ERSA list.
