The University of Johannesburg does not offer academic courses in the performing arts, but that does not hinder us from having a very active, high-quality Arts and Culture programme across all four campuses. Through the cultural offices a variety of activities are on offer: drama, dance, music theatre, choirs and much more. Furthermore, art lovers can enjoy a wide variety of offerings at the UJ Arts Centre (APK), where cutting-edge contemporary art is on view and the theatre hosts professional productions in dance, drama and music throughout the year.
