
The strategic goal of the Corporate Communication Section is to build the UJ brand through effective internal and external communication programmes. This section supports the corporate mission, policy and goals of the University as well as its marketing activities for maximum impact.
Communication and information sharing is core to achieving the strategic goals of UJ. Our communication outputs are focused, and effort is leveraged to the maximum by identifying suitable communication vehicles through which communication can be implemented.
- Corporate Communication objectives:
- Create awareness and increase UJ's visibility, its objectives and directives amongst stakeholders
- Provide ongoing communication about UJ, its activities and programmes
- Initiate and facilitate liaison between the UJ and its stakeholders
- Manage the University’s reputation holistically
- Create communication that is clear, pertinent, unambiguous and timely – internally and externally
- Website development and maintenance
- Implement evaluation methodology
